LIGHTNIN HOPKINS (Bluesman)
Hoy subo un video del maestro Bluesman Sam LIGHTNIN HOPKINS (Houston, Tejas EEUU 1912 - 1982) y de su canción "Glory Be". Un auténtico poeta del sentimiento emocional del Blues y dominador de la técnica de la guitarra, Hopkins está entre los mejores Top 100 guitarristas de todos los tiempos. Para los más "jóvenes", el famoso tema "Back to New Orleans (Baby Please Don't Go)" es suyo, versionando por tantos otros músicos y bandas.
Un artista importante en la historia de la música, el Blues y imprescindible para entender "las entrañas" de nuestra música contemporánea. Aparte, muchos le consideran el músico más "cool" de todos los tiempos, ya que siempre iba vestido de primera y sus gafas de sol negras era su "trademark".
