MAJICAL CLOUDZ | Recomendado

No puedo decirte mucho. MAJICAL CLOUDZ es Devon Welsh y el músico ( teclados ) Matthew Otto. El disco es "Impersonator" y el ambiente es introspectivo, llamativo y de letra moldeado con significado. Esto, el toque "electro-pop-alternativo", y tienes un trabajo muy interesante y recomendado.

SCOUT NIBLETT | Recomendado

No es PJ Harvey, si que es SCOUT NIBLETT una mujer con unos "h*evos musicales" bien puestos y con su gran disco titulado "Its Up Too Emma". El single "Gun" y este vídeo es una buena tarjeta de introducción, me gusta el sonido de la guitarra. Y si, hay una cierta oscuridad por el álbum pero brilla por ser quizás su mejor trabajo.

Ray Manzarek | DEP

Ray Manzarek, cofundador y teclista de THE DOORS entre 1965 y 1973, ha fallecido a los 74 años después de una larga batalla contra el cáncer. Gran teclista y músico.

THE LONGPIGS

La música británica nos ha dado muchísimos grupos-bandas. Nos quedamos muchas veces con solo el punto del "iceberg" y por debajo el agua hay una área rica de contenido musical. Una banda de los 90 que tuvo su momento y que se fue debajo el agua fueron THE LONGPIGS. Te dejo un vídeo suyo de un tema que triunfo pero hay material por la web si quieres investigar. Están en linea de bandas UK como Shed Seven, Gene, Cast y Oasis, con lo cual si te mola algunos de estos te va gustar The Longpigs.

ALKALINE TRIO | 2013

Se llaman ALKALINE TRIO y su nuevo trabajo se titula "My Shame Is True". Llevan juntos desde 1997 y la formación ahora no es la original pero siguen con un "punk-rock" que merece escuchar. ¿Que te parece?

Fin de semana y espero que estas descansando. Si tienes tiempo te animo en buscar por los canales habituales lo nuevo de THE NATIONAL , su nuevo disco "Trouble Will Find Me". Buen álbum y pienso que quizás te puede gustar. Aunque esta previsto para el 20 de Mayo, se puede encontrar.

BEACHES | Down Under

Al menos es interesante. Estilo "shoegaze" de músicos/mujeres de la ciudad de Melbourne ( Australia ). Se llaman BEACHES y su nuevo disco se titula "She Beats". Personalmente me gustaba más el primer disco del 2008 ( "Beaches") pero no me disgusta este nuevo trabajo.

PRIMAL SCREAM | En su linea

Nuevo disco de PRIMAL SCREAM titulado "More Light". Si eres fan vas estar encantado, si buscas algo innovador o diferente mejor volver tu colección de álbumes y buscar "Screamadelica" para escucharlo. El trabajo sale en el momento preciso para ganarse un dinero por giras y festivales de verano pero - para mi - poco más.
