TAMARYN lanza nuevo álbum titulado "Cranekiss". Esta bien, mola el disco. Lo único que puede "llamarte la atención" es que recuerda o presta mucho de gente como "My Bloody Valentine", "Cocteau Twins" y "Beach House". No esta nada mal, solo que si buscas "originalidad" quizás aquí no esta. Buscar el trabajo y decides tu!

22-20s | Reencuentro

Quiero hoy revivir una banda británica que se perdió. Sacaron su debut álbum titulado como ellos en 2004, más dos discos más para dejarlo todo definitivamente en 2013 (antes se habían separado antes en 2005-2006). Los 22-20s eran parte del sello "Heavenly", y para mi su mejor disco era el debut.

Buena banda que se perdió en el camino, o no destaco como querían por la altísima competencia de "su tiempo" con otras grandes bandas británicas.

Todavía ninguna banda a plasmado en una canción la larga y dura carrera hacia la fama del Rock N Roll como AC/DC. La verdad es que muchos aspirantes nunca llegan a la cima de la fama. Además los Australianos impregnan esta canción historia-biográfica con el mejor sonido Rock N Roll y con una letra que es poético.

Desde la ciudad de Boston (EE.UU) Ellen Kempner y su banda PALEHOUND nos presenta su álbum debut "Dry Food". Disco que se centra principalmente en la separación amorosa de la cantante. Una mezcla de emociones y sonidos que lo hace diferente y a su vez interesante. Mola!

ALESSIA CARA | Nueva Promesa

Tomad nota del nombre, ALESSIA CARA de solo 19 años y de Canadá. La artista ha sampleado el tema "Glory Box" de Portishead para transformarlo - a su manera - en su single "Here" que esta llamando la atención a los críticos y a los medios de comunicación. Ya esta dejando su huella en EE.UU y UK.

Tiene un EP titulado "Four Pink Walls", aunque todo el mundo anticipa pronto un disco debut.

LA LUZ | Surfs Up

Ya que estamos en verano y mucha gente en la playa, propongo el cuarteto americano LA LUZ y su nuevo álbum "Weirdo Shrine". Música surf de unas chicas que lo vienen con el toque de actualidad. Buen disco y divertido.

No son Pet Shop Boys, son HEALTH conjunto americano de LA que antes hacían música punk. Ahora es noise-electrónica y su nuevo disco se titula "Death Magic".

Algo diferente que puede interesar.

ULTIMATE PAINTING | Pop-Garage

Jack Cooper (Mazes) y James Hoare (Veronica Falls) se juntan para el conjunto ULTIMATE PAINTING y presentan su trabajo "Green Lanes". Nada mal este proyecto, interesante con temas de tres minutos en la linea de pop-garage al estilo de grandes bandas como "Bats" y "The Chills" (ambos bandas de Nueva Zelanda).
